Terms and Conditions

I, as purchaser and/or end user of a booster pump and/or related accessories (“the Product”), expressly ASSUME ALL RISKS OF INJURY, DEATH OR DAMAGE to my person or property arising from or in conjunction with my purchase, use or misuse of the Product. I understand and am fully aware that there are many inherent risks and hazards associated with the operation of high-pressure gas booster pumps, including but not limited to: high pressure hazards – failure of hoses, fittings or the pump body can lead to catastrophic mechanical failure and high-velocity projectiles; oxygen hazards – handling oxygen or nitrox involves a high risk of fire, rapid combustion or explosion; gas toxicity – improper blending or contamination of breathing gases can lead to hyperoxia, hypoxia, hypercapnia, narcosis or decompression sickness; and physical injury – serious injury or death resulting from explosion, fire or mechanical impact. I fully understand and accept that, by using the Product, I may be seriously injured or killed, even if I do nothing wrong. I represent and warrant that I am a certified scuba diver or technician with specialized training in gas blending and handling of high-pressure gases. I have read and understand the manufacturer’s operating instructions and all safety protocols. I understand that any unauthorized modifications, use of non-original parts, or failure to follow service intervals voids any applicable warranties and significantly increases the risk of catastrophic failure. I voluntarily release, discharge, waive and relinquish any and all actions, claims or causes of action for injuries, damages or death arising out of my purchase, use or misuse of the Product based upon any negligent act or omission of the Released Parties, nor any of their officers, directors, instructors, agents, employees, contractors or assigns including, but not limited to, the design, materials, assembly, performance, warnings, instructions for use or operation of the Product. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE that Released Parties shall not be held liable or responsible in any way for any injury, death or other damages to me, my family, estate, heirs or assigns arising out of my purchase, use or misuse of the Product.

USUN GB40-OL Booster Pump: Efficient Gas Management for Tech Divers

Every technical diver knows the frustration of having plenty of oxygen or helium left in a storage cylinder, but not enough pressure to get a good fill for a deco bottle or rebreather tank. The USUN GB40-OL Booster Pump solves this problem, allowing you to pull that expensive gas down low and boost it to the pressure you need. This unit creates a cost-effective solution for managing your gas logistics safely and efficiently.

Ideal for Smaller Cylinders

This is a Single Action booster, designed specifically for precision and smaller volumes. While it is capable of filling up to an AL80 (11.1 liters), it truly shines when filling cylinders smaller than 40 cubic feet (approx. 5.7 liters). This makes it the perfect workhorse for topping off rebreather oxygen and diluent tanks, or filling shallow decompression bottles without wasting gas.

Safety First

Working with high-pressure oxygen requires strict safety protocols. This booster arrives oxygen cleaned and ready for service. Because it is air-driven, it requires zero electrical connections. This eliminates the risk of heat, flames, or sparks during operation, giving you peace of mind when blending volatile mixes.

Low Maintenance, Long Life

You want to spend time diving, not servicing your pump. The USUN seal system is designed for a long working life and requires no airline lubrication. This keeps your gas path clean and reduces maintenance downtime. The unit is robust enough to handle continuous stop-and-start applications, so you can check pressures and switch tanks without worrying about the booster stalling or overheating.

Drive Gas Requirements

You can power this booster using a shop compressor or compressed gas from scuba cylinders. While the manufacturer lists a high requirement of 28 cfm for rapid cycling, we prioritize safety and heat management. Our clients successfully run this booster with compressors delivering 6 to 10 cfm, resulting in a slower, cooler, and safer fill rate.

  • Pro Tip: In our experience, using one standard AL80 cylinder to drive the booster will typically boost about 40 cubic feet of gas. Keep in mind that your results may vary depending on your starting and ending pressures.

System Customization

Please note that this booster ships without hoses or fittings. However, we are here to help. If you need assistance building a complete system with the correct whips, gauges, and connections for your specific setup, just reach out to us.

Proposition 65

Safe Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 – Warnings Required

WARNING: This Dive Right In Scuba product can expose you to certain chemicals which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information go to  www.P65Warnings.ca.gov

We appreciate your decision to purchase Dive Right In Scuba products to provide the best in water experience. We take our job seriously! You may have noticed that our products now show a warning label at point of sale referring to carcinogens and birth defects. You may also have begun to see warnings related to carcinogenic substances or substances causing birth defects prominently displayed in hotel lobbies, hospitals, or other places of business recently. These warnings are required by the State of California, and we believe that an explanation of the California statute legislating the requirement will provide you valuable information regarding the relative risks of the chemicals that may be present in consumer products.

In 1986, the State of California passed the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act; otherwise known as “Proposition 65” or "Prop 65". Prop 65 requires businesses like ours to disclose to individuals the presence of chemicals listed in the Act prior to point of sale. The regulations implementing this Act have been amended over time with the most recent updates will take effect on August 30, 2018. There are more than 900 chemicals on the Prop 65 Chemical List, including many chemicals that are found in components of a wide array of consumer goods or are used to manufacture components that make up consumer goods.

Prop 65 does not establish acceptable concentrations for any listed chemical; however, the agency which enforces it has established what is called "safe harbor" exposure levels for about one third of these chemicals below which warnings are not required. These "safe harbor" are established for listed carcinogens based on the quantity of the chemical that would result in one excess case of cancer in an exposed population of 100,000, assuming lifetime (70-year) exposure at the level in question. A similar process is used to establish safe harbor levels for listed reproductive toxicants. Additional information in plain language on safe harbor levels is available from the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment at http://oehha.ca.gov/Prop65/background/p65plain.html

At Dive Right In Scuba, the safety of your in water experience is our highest priority. We go to great effort to select materials that offer superior value, quality, and durability while also being generally recognized as safe and reliable for the full life of the product. Dive Right In Scuba also works closely with many regulatory bodies, such as the US Coast Guard and Underwriter’s Laboratories, to ensure the longevity of your on-water safety through targeted selection of durable, long lasting materials and components that undergo significant validation testing before being used to manufacture end items. Sometimes the safety promise we offer appears at odds with the health and safety requirements of other legislation in certain parts of the world when some regulations are updated ahead of others. To ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, Dive Right In Scuba has placed a warning on products that contain a Prop 65 listed chemical, either directly or as a part of the raw material supply chain. This allows us to comply with California law and provide our California consumers with the disclosure required by Prop 65, while still promising the safest on water experience possible.

Dive Right In Scuba is working diligently with regulatory bodies and our own manufacturing partners to continue to continue to improve our product performance and reduce the presence of less desirable chemicals. Water is a precious resource we all share that is important to the health and well-being of our planet and all people. Our goal is to continue to enhance your water life experience while reducing our overall impact to the planet and, in particular, its waterways. While it is a bit of a juggling act to achieve, we are confident you will see continued improvement in both the immediate and long term future. We hope this explanation will enable you to understand why you will be seeing warnings on some our products.

Thank you for your continued use of Dive Right In Scuba products.
