excellent harness. I love the adjustment points. It took me a while to figure out how to thread the harness and a good while longer to dial it in, but now that it is, I can slip into and out of it very easily. just slide in and pull down on the shoulder straps and viola snugged up and ready to dive. Getting out is just as easy, just pop my DS inflator then pull the waist release and pop one shoulder buckle and slide it off. Great setup.
only problem, the CD-rom that came with it is out of date, it has the Elite harness which it quite different than the Elite 2. But alas, the Hollis website has the correct install manual.

After getting certified in August and having 12 dives under my belt with traditional rental BC's, I wanted my own equipment. I was looking for the convenience and adjustablity of a BC without all the bulk, plus wanted to be able to configure my equipment as I want as I learned and dove more. The Elite 2 looked like the perfect match for me. After assembling the harness, plate and wing, (Thanks Rich) I dove in the pool......WOW what a difference. I felt free and uncumbered.....but that was in a pool without weights and dry suit. A couple days later, I put the dry suit on and made 2 dives.....I couldn't believe how free I felt in the water. This setup made diving the way I imagined it to be......so easy to float and stay level, without the feeling of bulk, it was like it was just me and my drysuit without the tank and weights........I really believe that not only am I going to enjoy diving more, this will certainly speed up the learning curve. I could not be happier.
