Excellent, Comfortable Harness for Backplate

Bought this harness because wanted the stability and simplicity of a backplate but the comfort, adjustability, and quick-releases of a commercial BC. This harness provides those items while still allowing all backplate hardware to transfer to the new harness. It has made the backplate much more enjoyable and comfortable, both in and out of the water!
Note you will definitely need to watch the video first in order to be able to figure out how to assemble it.

Good for bigger guys

So I've been diving for several years now and I was having trouble finding a BCD that would fit me properly. So after some checking I figured a semi-custom harness was the way to go. It is very high quality and easily adapts to just about any size you need. Although if you are under 5'5" you might have trouble with the optional shoulder pads and not have as many d-rings as taller folk, but that is easily made up for in the freedom of motion you'll get.

Firstly, dealing with DRIS was amazing, truly great company to do business with.
I did a ton of research online before settling on this harness and could not be happier with my purchase. The Elite 2 harness is a very solid piece of gear that screams quality. I have no doubt it will last me a very long time.

Like the harness, it is good looking and very comfortable. Setting up is a bit tricky but well worth it. The webbing material is just right: not to stiff, not too soft, same goes for the crotch strap. Only drawback would be the size of the d-rings, they are way too thick for no real reason. Price is very honnest, thanks DRIS

Just bought this harness its so comfortable. I paired it up with a hog aluminum backplate and a hog wing for a doubles setup. It feels very stable all the time my doubles don't even budge when I have my setup on. Would definitely recommend this over many other harnesses

I just went with the backplate system and DRIS gave me a great package deal. The Elite II harness is extremely well made and east to adjust. There are more than enough D-Rings with spares for future placement. I was able to hang all my accessories with no problems and have converted a friend.

IÂ’ve had a hard consideration about Hollis Elite 2 harness vs. Dive Rite Transpac II purchase. I was told Hollis takes a long time to ship, but I had few weeks before my Tech class started and took my chance. I am glad I did! My entire order from Hollis shipped promptly, and the quality of the gear is excellent.
The only other suggestion I have is to purchase the 1.5 inch crotch strap with quick release buckle instead of using the one that comes with the harness. But thatÂ’s just personal preference.

I used the Harness with Hollis aluminum backplate and S Series 38 lbs. Bladder. I looked for comfort and technical harness features, so with the harness I got it!
