A Truly Modular Platform:
The Ranger’s core strength lies in its modularity. Its Personal Fit System (PFS) and component options allow it to easily transition between different diving styles. Configure it for warm-water travel, rugged cold-water diving in a drysuit, or for technical diving with single or twin cylinders. This is a BCD platform that can evolve with your diving journey.
Built for Demanding Use:
Constructed from heavily reinforced 1050 Denier Ballistic Nylon, the Ranger is designed for years of active use in a wide variety of conditions.
High-Capacity Weight & Lift System:
The Ranger is well-equipped to handle significant gear loads and weighting requirements:
- Lift Capacity: A high-lift 44 lb (20 kg / 196 N) ballistic bladder comes standard (other capacities may be available as options).
- Ditchable Weight: The Ripcord® integrated weight system holds up to 30 lb (13.6 kg).
- Trim Weight: A 20 lb (9 kg) capacity rear trim weight system allows for precise in-water balance and positioning.
The Ranger also includes two zippered utility pockets, six stainless steel D-rings (four angled on the shoulders, two on the vest), an adjustable sternum strap, and 11-inch (28 cm) spaced grommets for mounting twin cylinder backplates.

I have not reached out to Zeagle to see if the seam is covered under warranty, as I have received fair use out of the BCD in my opinion.
This is a proven BCD model that has stood the test of time.
The customer service with DRIS is awesome. The promised I would have it within three business days and it arrived right on time.
I will say though, it does not pack small. When I purchased it, I was holing that I could get something that would be more streamlined than the jack BCs that I have dove before but it turns out the Ranger is just as bulky.
Also, while not against the Ranger specifically, I am realizing that I'm not fond of the integrated weights. With 20lbs of weights, added onto the already 40lb tank, your shoulders take a beating on long walks...
