Hi Andrew, these hoses are rated well below recreational depths. They have a 1500 psi working pressure and a 6000 psi minimum burst pressure. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me direct at augiej@diverightinscuba.com.
In general regulators and hoses do not need any special preparation to be used with oxygen percentages 40% and below. However these hoses are in fact O2 cleaned. I contacted the manufacturer to be sure.
The typical recreational hose length is around 30-32 inches. The fittings are 3/8-24 unf male to 9/16 unf female, which are standard scuba hose fittings, and those will fit with Apeks regs without adapters. If you have any other questions please let us know.

great very flexable hose excellent when used as an eight-foot main hose
Review bymichael
I love this hose, I received it on a hog D2 regulator set in an eight-foot hose length. I have always hated the way the standard eight-foot hose sticks out when you wrap it around your body it feels like you are diving with a very stiff python wrapped around you. In addition, when you try to wrap the standard hose up it is like wrapping a cable and takes a lot of room up in your bag.
This hose is very very loose and fits great when wrapped around the body it feels more like you are carrying a loose rope then a cable. Much more comfortable and stream lined. Moreover, when you go to put it away it will quite literally wrap around the first stage, it takes a lot less room to store and use. I like this hose so much that I am going to replace all my hoses with these. To top it off they cost a lot less then the miflex hoses, if they hold up anywhere near as long as my old hoses do then they are one heck of a good buy.

Ordered my first double braided hose couple of weeks ago. It seems to be a good built product so far. Quality is not any less than that of Mi-flex. The flexibility is just superior to rubber hose. The price is also great. The only thing left is durability, which we will tell in a year. But for now, it's worth the try. Thanks DRIS for providing a great alternative option of the pricey mi-flex to your customers.

I purchased a pair of the double braided low pressure hoses to go with the Poseidon Xstream swivels that i purchased from DRIS. For my sidemount rig, I needed one 32" hose and one 84" hose. These hoses are about 1/3 of the weight of the factory Poseidon hoses, and are much more flexible. The flexibility of these hoses make them easier to deploy during an S-Drill, easier to stow, and MUCH EASIER to get into the reg bag after the dive!
Shipping was fast and easy from DRIS. Can't beat the service here.

I purchased a 5' hose for my primary regulator. This is hose is very light and flexible. I'm told it gets even more comfortable after it breaks in a little. I paired this up with a 90 degree adapter and it's pretty comfortable.

Braided hose works just as good as the other name brand hoses for less than half the price. I use these hoses on all of my regulators. Dive right in Scuba did a great job as usual getting them to me in a timely manor.

It's a hose. It's definitely more flexible which helps with routing. The only caution is if you use it as a long hose for your second stage, it can be rough on the back of your neck.

Great low pressure hoses- very flexible - seems to reduce mouth fatigue for me. Very light and great for travel and domestic use alike. Minimal "float" and extremely durable. DRIS has every practical hose length for tech and sport diving.
