Easy way to connect up
Review byDivingMeCrazy
I wish they sold just the male ends, but have a few of these in my drysuit bag. For me, I don the male end of the catheter and then roll it on. At the dive site I can just click into the other end and focus on getting into the water. I do like that I can disconnect from the suit and travel to the next dive site and simply click again. If you get this system, I would order a few as spares in case you toss it with the catheter.

Easy to use quick disconnect
Review byBob D
The Light Monkey tinkle valve (optionally) comes with this great quick disconnect. It works well, however I worried it would be easy to lose the catheter side of the quick disconnect. I ordered a spare in case that should happen! I wish you could order just the catheter-side of the QD - but for now this is good enough.

Excellent product and purchase experience
Review byDanzerBoy
This quick disconnect (QD) for p-valve connections is AWESOME. It saves so much time and undue attention when you have to connect the catheter to the p-valve hose, especially in public such as on a dive boat. It also makes taking off your dry suit so much easier and faster (one-press disconnect of the p-valve). There is also some sort of a check-valve in the unit such that any remaining "fluid" in the hose will not spill or backwash into the dry suit when disconnecting the assembly. Excellent product. Great buying experience. Highly recommended!

Makes the dream work!
Review byEric
I have a SiTech Trigon P-valve. The original connector that came with the valve was a struggle to attach both to the suit and catheter (and in fact disconnected during both of my first two trial dives). Enter the quick disconnect: secure attachment to both the suit and myself that makes life much easier, both before and after a day of diving. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't hate themselves.

Awesome
Review byRich
Makes life much easier and more convenient. Allows you to have the catheter on before leaving the dock and then connect once at the dive site. Basically eliminating the inappropriate moments on deck struggling with the catheter and making the connection.

A must buy item if you use a p valve. Makes it much easier to put your suit on and doesnt leave you rolling on catheter in front of people. Good quality and a good price.

Great valve, makes"indoor plumbing" a breeze, and can also be purchased as an ice maker coupling for $3.95 at any hardware store.

I tend to use my P-valve even for shorter dives, just to be able to drink as much water as I want beforehand, but the ritual of connecting the cath on-site when dressing up was getting a bit tiring, especially in warmer surface climates.
Now, with the quick connect, it is done in a breeze and I am not looking back. No leaks to report either.
The only thing is to think about re-attaching again the plug on the suit-attached part before rinsing / disinfecting the P-valve, as I found myself struggling a bit without it, and then removing it again to put it in an easy to reach location in the - often early - morning when you don the cath before a dive day. If you forget about it, you'll find yourself having to re-open your gear bag, unfold the suit, get the plug, fold the suit again, etc. Just a matter of adapting your "ritual".

I have an OMS P-valve. It required rolling two small O-Rings over the end of the catheter, which was a HUGE pain in the butt. I purchased this quick disconnect which made hooking up the "indoor plumbing" a breeze.
