There's really not much to this product, but it does what it says it will and keeps the octo at an accessible position under your chin. The loop that goes around the mouthpiece is easily adjustable and securely holds the second stage. No complaints so far.

I have bought a couple of these from Dive Right In Scuba and I absolutely love them! To have your secondary reg in a convenient and easy place to use in emergency situations is perfect. I am sure you can do this a cheaper way, but why would you when DRIS is cheap and convenient.

I've ordered several of these from Dive Right in Scuba because I love them. Keeping your spare second stage in one area that's easy to access even when both hands are occupied is invaluable. While working with my wife going through her drills for her open water checkout her instructor trained her to place her octo in her mouth before passing off her primary, which could take a minute and from experience I know often when people are out of air they are not going to wait for you to hand them the reg so I bought her one so that her octo would always be close to where she needed it.

This is a great octopus holder. I was given this as a gift and it is better than my other octopus holder that connects to my BCD. It is simple and can be made if you have extra bungee cord laying around. I prefer this over the BCD holder because it is easier to retrieve.

Great simple device to hold octopus

I enjoy using a necklace to hold my octopus instead of the traditional PADI method of looping it through one of the D rings on the BCD. I found that looping it through the BCD D rings to be less effective since it can get knocked out easily. This way I know exactly where my octopus is and if my dive buddy is in an out of air situation, I can donate my primary and immediately switch to my octopus around my neck. I can actually reach my octopus without my hands.
