The Highland Travel Wing makes a nice addition to a diver’s modular plate and wing system. Due to its streamlined profile and light weight, it lends itself well to traveling or to those dives when you just feel like being a minimalist.

We get it. Standard plates are too heavy and soft plates are too flimsy. Try a minimalistic aluminum travel plate. It will provide all the support you need and minimize those nasty baggage fees.

Travel plates are often used in the tropics where minimal thickness exposure suits are worn. As such, a back pad is used so that the diver doesn’t have to feel the hard plate on their back. The Highland Back Pad is custom made specifically for the ultralightweight Aluminum Travel Plate. It is neutrally buoyant, has a large utility pocket and includes the attachment hardware.

• Attaches to the Highland Aluminum Travel Plate (p/n HL801-TP) using 4 plastic book screws (included)

• An integrated large utility pocket is ideal for carrying lift devices or other accessories

• The comfort comes from the use of 3D open cell mesh foam. Open cell foam does not add inherent buoyancy and it drains and dries quickly

The Tec/Rec Harness is a simple continuous weave design that can easily be customized. The 2” (50 mm) nylon web is specifically sourced for harness and crotch strap applications.
