Single Weight Pocket

just your basic non ditchable weight pocket. I have several for different configurations. I use them as tank band pocket on my backplate or as weight belt pockets on the rate occasion i wear one. Just make sure if you plan on using shot bags that you get the smallest pocket that will fit the weight, otherwise (as with any pocket like this) the shot will balloon out. I've never actually seen a weight slide out, we use these with our students and zip tie them closed to be safe, but I've heard of it happening.

The design of the pouch is such that it has two very large openings on the bottom sides. The openings are approximately 1” square. If you have typical, rectangular, lead block, weight - no worries. However, if you are using small, trim weights, as I am. You have a problem. My trim weights are 1lbs and are about the size of D batteries. They slide right out of the side holes. Also, if you are using lead shot in mesh bags, they are likely to protrude from these openings. That could be an issue as well especially if they snag of something. The cost for shipping to return these and order another set of pouches would be about the same as my refund. I fault the manufacturer for not being clear about this detail in either the description or images. These are being sold as trim pouches so there should be the assumption that they will potentially be used with small amounts of weight. I decided to sew some nylon straps inside each pouch so now the work great. But if you are potentially going to be using small weights and don’t want a sewing project, look for something else.

If you are looking to add soft weights to your weight belt or add a trim pocket to your tank's cam band this fits the bill perfectly. It is not completely enclosed so it drains quickly and dries quickly. It is exactly the size of a 5 pound soft weight. If there is one thing it is not great for it is that a 1 lb weight might slip out. Other than that I've got zero complaints. Great item.

These things are great! I managed to get two of them on my lower cam band, so now when I'm diving with my wing and back plate I'm only carrying a few pounds up front on my webbing. They seem nice and sturdy, and when you tighten down the cam band on the tank they hold in place just fine.

Can't beat these for the price. It's foolishness what some of the other brands on the market are charging for simple weight pockets. Be sure to buy one with the outer velcro if you're planning on getting a pair to put on your cam bands, this way the band overlapping the pocket has a place to stick.

This is good tank weights to adjust trim. It is good for sidemounted systems and the bags hold 5 poudns each which is nice.

I bought 2 for my bp/w set up and put them on the cummberbund
it will slide alone the 2" webbing (especially when with weight in it) so I have to secure them with triglide & D ring

These get the job done. They get the job done and are durable. They are priced very well.

The pockets slide onto webbing easily. They are cheap, but have good construction with high quality materials. They fit only 5 pounds so if you need more weight you need more of these or need to get a bigger pocket.

Great way to move some of the extra weight required for drysuits onto your back reducing what has to be on your weight belt or ditchable pockets. Well constructed pockets.
