Description
The Lava Core Hood has been designed to protect against thermal loss in water as well as protecting against the wind. The Lava Core hood can be worn on its own but also under wetsuit or dry suit for extra warmth. This dive hood has a unisex fit and has a sun protection factor of 30 so you can spend longer in the water.

- Water repellant and anti chill properties on outer layer
- Quick drying outer layer
- High stretch mid layer which is wind proof and breathable. Allows perspiration to be wicked away
- Inner layer fleece has anti pill treatment
- Anti microbial lining to reduce odour
- Neutrally buoyant
- Flatlocked seams overlapped for water integrity
- Full gusset under arms to provide movement and stretch
- Sun protection of SPF 30 plus

Keeps head warm

I only wear this during the winters and non tropical waters. It keeps my head really warm. Without it I will get cold easily during fall/winter dives.

I love this hood as it offers good warmth but great maneuverability. Does not Choke you like many hoods do. Great price for a hood which keeps you warm in temperate and semi cold waters.

Very good and comfortable hood for tropcial waters.
I'd say these wil wear out much faster than neoprene hoods though but have the advantage of packing very small and being very lights when you need a hood to give you comfort for that second or third dive of the day when diving on holiday in warm waters

Wonderful hood, I used this on a dive, and it worked great. It was perfect for keeping my head and face warm after the dive also, when dry of course. :)
