Love these, they are rugged and don`t cost too much. Very convenient on a single cylinder setup when you have to modify your weighting and/or trim
occasionally. One drawback would be the width of the belt loop in the back. I would rather have it narrower to make configurations options broader. I didn`t find them overly easy to ditch but, haven`t used them with smaller weights yet.

Dove 4 of these for the first time this week. Worked Great! Used 2 on the lower cam bands, and 2 on my waist strap of a hog harness setup. was really nice to ditch the extra weight belt, highly recommended and great build quality.

I used my XS scuba weight pockets for the first time Earlier this month , and fely they were very comfortable to use. I had 6lbs in each one, with an Aluminum 80 tank. Velcro was secure, and did not feel it was going to come undone at any point.

I canÂ’t say I was really comfortable with this system. First, its just way to easy to dump the weight with only Velcro holding. Just putting my plate and wing on I had one come out the first time I used them. Second, with 4 or 5 pounds its ok, but anything less and the weight just does not hold firmly enough for my tastes. It rattles around in the pocket too much.
I can live with the Velcro because you can always put the pocket on upside down, although this defeats the quick release part of the systemÂ…at least for buddy use. But I really needed the pockets to work better with smaller weights.

Good if you want to add some ditch-able weight to your harness. they have a nice small compact size so they don't take up a lot of space and can be slid all the way to the back plate. I use these when I need more weight than can fit in my trim pockets on my tank that way i don't have to wear a weight belt. Like others have said just be careful not to snag them and loose your weight, but i guess that's a hazard with all quick release weight pockets.

It's a pocket, it holds weights. I like the ideal of being able to dump the weights, but be careful with them. The first time I used them was on a boat dive, and when I got up to exit the boat the flap caught on the gear next to me and opened the flap and dumped the weight without me knowing about it until I was in the water and struggling to get down.

For the price it is a good quick release pocket with secure Velcro for 4 and 5 lbs weights. Can be easy kept from sliding around belt webbing using 2 flat tech harness slide/keepers and piece of 2” webbing.

They were all out of the quick release model when I ordered, so I switched to the non-quick release (no biggie). They hold a 5# weight nicely and the velcro holds well. I've just gotta figure out a way to keep them from sliding around on my belt.

An excellent pocket to add weight to any 2" webbing. They accomodate up to 5lbs of weight. I use 5lb shot weight and they fit perfectly in these pockets. Secure velcro release for emergency weight dump. I added two of these to the webbing of my BP/W and have gotten rid of my weight belt.
