Great shears, rust resistant and cut well

I find that these titanium shears cut easily through webbing or line or anything I've tried yet. I use the sheath from my old shears. You still need to remember to rinse after salt water. Someone taught me to rub any area that oxidizes with sand, and it worked wonders to restore it. The hinge is not titanium, so it might be best to put silicone to prevent oxidizing.

These titanium shears seem nice - I bought them to get me over the free shipping amount, but they do look to be solid. We'll see if as they age they continue to cut braid fishing line as easily as they do now. They're nice sized shears to have included with my kayak fishing tools and it looks like they will provide valuable help in cutting lines and maybe even bait fish.

These are way more useful than a dive knife for cutting yourself free of all kinds of hazards (I do carry a knife too though). Will cut through steel leaders! mine started to rust at the hinge only because I didn't take care of them the way I should have. That being said, rinse, dry and lubricate your shears. 4 stars because you actually have to do some maintenance but worth 6 stars when you need them.

GREAT COATED SHEARS THAT SHOULD LAST MANY DIVES,

VERY STOUT CUTTING POWER, I HAVE YET TO FIND A MATERIAL THAT THIS WONT CUT, CUTS HEAVY 100+LB MONO LIKE A HOT KNIFE, WIRE LEADER, NETTING, ANYTHING I PUT IN FRONT OF IT.

THE ONLY REASON WHY I GAVE 4 STARS AND NOT 5 IS THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT INCLUDE ANY KIND OF A SHEATH OR HOLDER...........

The titanium coating makes these shears last longer than my cheaper stainless ones. They cut just as well. As long as you do not use it the coating will protect well until the time when you really need it like to cut a net or a line.

Shears will cut through anything. I liek that the hinge bolt is stainless steel unlike many other shears. It has a nice titanum coating to further prevent rusting. The handles are comfortable to use.

XS scuba shears are very high quality and resist rusting more than most other shears. They are sharp and will cut through pennies. If I had to choose only one cutting tool, it would be shears.
