Always an easy transaction through Dive Right in SCUBA. This product is a must to keep in the supply box on a trip. Makes it easy to replace parts and not have to scrap a dive because of an easy fix.

Kit has all the parts to fix a broken valve. This saves a lot of mount versus buying a brand new valve. It makes the old valve like brand new.

As always, dealing with DRIS is great. And their price on the XS-Scuba valve service kits is great. However, BOTH of my kits (factory sealed) came without that large, white plastic washer you see in the photo.
Fortunately, this is the hand wheel washer, and so I just reused mine. Less than ideal, but not a crisis. Leisurepro, which has these kits priced $4 more than DRIS at the moment, shows a photo without the washer. So I'm guessing that XS-Scuba is just that chincy. Or has a QA/QC problem. A serious shortcoming when you figure that some folks will throw away the washer before servicing the valve. Uh-oh.
At least now you know to check your kit before you set to work. BTW, it is an incredibly quick and easy service job. Nothing to it as long as you don't over-torgue things. Torque ranges are provided in Thermo service instructions provided online.

Nice to be able to service your own valve if and when it starts to leak. Not readily available as others have mentioned so its nice that DRIS stocks and sells them. Have a set in case my one of my valves needs service.

Leaky thermo valve? Then buy these parts and rebuild the valve. DRIS is the only place that i have found to sell the repair kits to individuals. By a few and throw them in your tool kit. They have saved me some expensive service fees at the local dive shop.

if you've got a leaky valve or have destroyed the seat by cranking on the handwheel.. just chuck one of these kits in.. very easy to install with minimal tools and she's good as new.

Glad to have the access to Original Equipment Manufacturer nitrox valve rebuild kits at a good price. Kit contains everything for the valve, but not the burst disk assembly.
