Good minimalist padding

I don't use these as shoulder straps, but rather for the crotch strap while scootering. Adds a little comfort and prevents wear on my drysuit. Would work well on shoulder straps too if you're diving in a rashguard or something and needed padding.

My shoulders would be in pain when the harness strap digs into it when I am diving doubles. This keeps the pressure more distributed so my shoulders are in comfort.

Sometime shoulder straps dig into your shoulder and that leaves you in discomfort. It is nice having the pads which distribute the weight and allow for more comfortable dives so you can focus on diving and not adjusting your straps.

The only time I have found these useful are when I am diving in a t shirt and wearing an HP 130 tank. I then use these to prevent the webbing from digging into my shoulders. In most other situations, I prefer to use my webbing without the pads as that gives greater freedom of movement.

These things are great! I grabbed some for my shoulders and crotch strap (helps with wear and tear on inner thighs!) and love the extra comfort they provide on the shoulders. I also used the extra one (since only one of the pair went on the crotch strap) on the backstrap of my sidemount harness for a bit of rigidity when putting it on and it very nice too (though hardly necessary).

These are nice for preventing the webbing from cutting into your skin if you are diving without a wetsuit. Otherwise, I just prefer the webbing without a cover.

Another great little value item, these make a basic bp/w with single piece harness a little more comfortable. Added these to our rigs before our spring break spring hopping trip, knowing that there would be multiple places that would require extended walks with gear on our backs.
There is not much too them, just a bit extra padding to help stop the shoulder straps from digging in quite so much.
Arrived on time, great shopping experience as always.
