I purchased this valve to replace a "K" valve I had on an used tank I purchased. I love the fact that this unit tank can now be used by me with my DIN regs or my dive buddy buddy with his "K" regs. the Valve is incredibly well built nad the knob turns freely and very easily. All and all, a GREAT product

I have replaced all other valves on my tanks with these valves for conformity and because I feel that these tanks are superior to others on the market. I like the screw out din adapters and the fact that parts are available to repair the valve need be the case.

Thermo makes the best valves period. They are smooth to operate, tough and just work well.

Unlike APD, Blue Steel, genesis and others, you can actually get the parts for the Thermo valves if you should break or get a leak in the valve handle. In fact DRIS has the for sale under the parts/tools section.

I purchased four of these with my new DRIS Luxfer tanks. Thermo has become my new standard after my favorite manufacturer closed up it's foundry. Thermos are solid performs and its easy to find spare parts and service technicians for them. I prefer the Pro model because it can accommodate my 300 bar DIN fittings or a yoke with the simple insert.

This is a very solid and well built valve. I am starting to switch out all of my yoke valves for this valve as I have both yoke and DIN regulators, and also lend tanks to my friends who have both DIN And yoke regulators. Picking this up you can tell that it is very solid and not likely to fail. The handle operates very smooth and doesn't take too many turns to open, but doesn't open so easily that it will get bumped and slowly empty your tanks. I highly recommend this valve!

Exactly what you'd expect from a Thermo valve--high quality and solidly built. The burst disk is protected as noted elsewhere, and the pro-valve option means I can use it with my DIN regs, or my friends with yoke regs can borrow my tanks without any problems (as long as I remember to keep the inserts in my dive kit!).

This has the normal type knob--not the goofy red/green one that opens quickly. I prefer this option as I'm less likely to bump it open (or closed!) accidentally.

I purchased two of these for tanks that I use for quarry diving and that I loan out to friends without tanks. The ability to switch between DIN and yolk means that all of my dive buddies can use the tanks, regardless of their regs. The operation is smooth and the thermo nobs are big enough to easily turn even with dry gloves.

As others have noted, the valve is massive and well-built. A really good value.
