Bought this for my single tank setup, it's metal and it's heavy, which allows me to reduce the amount of weight on my belt, awesome! had it for 3 years now and show no sign of rust or deforming, it is built like a tank and I can probably pass it on to my grandchildren if I want to. I was also told by the airport security at Schipol airport that they almost considered it a hand weapon, so word of advice, don't put it in your carry on luggage.

I bought this for my HP steel cylinder as I prefer a 6# weight insert in the STA when using Aluminum 80s. It's a simple but effective design; it leaves plenty of room for wing inflation and it doesn't seem to flex under load. I discovered DRIS after I bough this somewhere else. I could have saved some cash if I had bought it here.

Like someone here said it's bent piece of steel. This STA worked really well with my LP 95 tank and duel Highland Cam bands. I would recommend this product if you're looking for an STA. rock solid. I would have liked it more if it was a bit cheaper. Good shipping and packaging.

Bought one to go with the DR Transplate with Rec wing I have. While the DR Rec wing is designed as a convertible wing enabling you to dive both singles and doubles, the kit comes only with normal cam bands, wich needs to be threaded-unthearded each time you switch singles to doubles. I was intending to buy an STA, and this STA was the most affordable. While being affordable, I find no fault in craftsmanship, with clean cutouts and properly finished edges.

Highlands Single Tank Adapter is well worth the money. Highland make quality stainless steel products like tank bands and back plates and Single tank adapters. The Single Tank adapter holds my single aluminum 80 tanks perfect. It is a great improvement over just having the single tank mounted to the back plate and wing. There is no roll whatsoever when out of the water walking to the spring. You may need to get longer bolts depending on what wing back plate setup you are running. A+ would buy it again!

What can I say it's a piece of bent steel. It works just the way I thought it should. I have an Apeks BP/W and Apeks doesn't make a STA adapter. I had tried a Dive Rite Transplate when I was first looking at buy a BP/W that had a STA. I like how solid and stationary it makes the tank. This is one of the cheapest STA around but it works great. I would recommend this to anyone interesting in a STA. Why pay more for a piece of metal with a different logo?
