Works well for my AL40 that I use as a pony. The only thing that would make it better is if the hose retainer strap had a tab to make it easier to re-stow the hose if it is deployed. Hardware is good quality and I don't foresee any issue using the clips with gloves.

Great Product with Minor Flaw

I bought this for my 40cf stage/deco cylinder. It is of high quality and easy to install. It has one minor flaw -- it is tough to get the hose back inside the elastic band that holds your hose and/or second stage regulator for quick deployment when wearing gloves underwater. There are other versions that have a little pull tab that make it much easier.

Have had ine of these on my primary bailout for some time now. Ordered another for a 30 stage. Just as first outstanding quality. Trimmed the sleeve on the hose clamp to fit the smaller diamater of the 30 and works perfect. Ordered it on a monday for a trip on a friday and Tuesday was notified it was a week back order. Talked to kim about trading it out for a other stage kit. Thursday the exact light monkey stage kit showed up at my house. Amazing customer service as always.

Really good stage kit which I leave at the bottom of my drop line in case its needed for my partner or myself. Have my second stage with 6 ft miflex hose tucked under the bands and it easily pulls out if needed. Overally a very nice little kit.

This kit is just what you need for stage bottles and the price is good. Nothing superfluous, easy to install and the snap links were decent quality and didn't bind are are big enough to operate easily with gloves. I liked it so much I bought one for each of my 80 cu stages and retired my home-brew slings.

The Light Monkey stage kits are ideally suited for their purpose. The minimalist design keeps equipment handling simple. Materials are all high quality. I currently have 16 stage / deco bottle in service. All of them have this rigging on them. DRIS is always easy to deal with and always quick to ship.

This stage kit worked really well, although I didn't get the smaller rubber bands shown in the picture with my kit (towards the bottom). I'm not sure what they would have been used for though, so I wasn't too upset about this. This is a good value if you don't want to have to find the parts yourself. They can be made a little bit cheaper than this, but I would rather buy it all in one kit than drive all over looking for the parts and wasting time and gas. This only took a couple minutes to install, if you need help check youtube for videos (or ask Mike to post a video on the site!)
