I lost my long-time snorkel during a nasty shore exit. My mask was later recovered, but my snorkel (attached using the stock hard plastic piece) was long-gone. It would have still been there had I originally gotten one of these. It's very easy to move it in and out of position. Not the keeper's fault, but I do find my snorkel can flop around a lot, which is annoying, but it's always there when I need it!

Good if you adjust it before hand

Adjusting these is difficult once in the water, but your snorkel will not be going anywhere. It is the only snorkel keeper that had never failed me.

Cheap and effective snorkel keeper

This snorkel keeper does it job and doesn't fail at it like many others will. After having my snorkel constantly come off during my diving, a dive buddy suggest I use one of these and I have never had a problem since.

Simple snorkel keeper that works

I was tired of my snorkel keeper failing. Having your snorkel tall off your mask in the surf is annoying. This snorkel keeper is simple and secure. The fancy snorkel keepers aren't secure. I keep a spare in my save a dive kit. It may be more difficult to get on your snorkel and adjust, but at least I know my snorkel is not going anywhere.

These snorkel keepers make great octo or primary holders for a bcd and are a good deal cheaper than those sold for that purpose. I carry a couple in my save a dive kit just in case the ones on my bcd break.

Thick silicone snorkel keeper is just right for a backup save-a-dive bag. It's flexible enough to fit most snorkels and mask straps. I keep it in my Dive Master kit just in case. The DRIS price is great for the quality.

While it may work for some, I personally find this type of snorkel keeper to be inconvenient. Making adjustments while in the water, say if the snorkel keeps getting in the way, and other tasks are much more difficult. While this is more of a design flaw than a specific product flaw, if this type of snorkel keeper works for someone then this review can be ignored. But if someone is considering which type of keeper to get I might look at a different product.
