The Zeagle SAR BC is a specialized buoyancy system engineered from the ground up to meet the rigorous demands of Public Safety divers and Military personnel. Developed in response to requests from professionals in the field, this BCD integrates mission-specific features into a durable and highly functional platform.

Integrated Lifting Harness:

The standout feature of the SAR is its permanently installed lifting harness. This integral system is designed to facilitate rescuer extraction in challenging scenarios such as helicopter, cliff, or swiftwater operations, providing secure lift points on the BCD itself.

Heavy-Duty Construction & High Capacity:

Built on Zeagle's proven Tech BC platform, the SAR vest is constructed from heavily reinforced 1050 Denier Ballistic Nylon for exceptional durability in demanding environments.

• High Lift Bladder: The ballistic bladder provides a substantial 65 lbs (29.5 kg / 289 N) of lift, capable of managing heavy gear loads.
• Ripcord® Weight System: A ditchable weight system with a 36 lb (16.3 kg) capacity.
• Rear Trim Weights: A 20 lb (9 kg) capacity rear trim weight system allows for precise in-water balance adjustment.

Operational Features & Attachments:

The SAR is designed for adaptability and extensive gear attachment.

• Cylinder Compatibility: Accommodates both single or twin cylinder setups via 11-inch (27.9 cm) spaced grommets for backplate mounting.
• Attachment Points: A total of ten stainless steel D-rings (four on the shoulders, six on the vest) provide ample points for securing mission-critical gear.
• Storage: Features two zippered utility pockets for tools and two dedicated hose storage pockets on the bladder wings.
• High Visibility: SOLAS standard symbols on the buckles and reflective 3M ScotchLite® trim on the bladder enhance operator visibility.
• Fit System: A twin buckle front closure, adjustable sternum strap, and small lumbar pad contribute to a secure fit. A split saddle harness is also included.

Special Note on Size XS: The XS size is a custom order. It has a 20lb capacity Ripcord System, does not include cargo pockets over the weight pockets, and is designed for use with single tanks only.
