Description

Still this regulator beats most other regulators on the market with some considerable ease. The German Navy and many others still have the Cyklon regulator as their first choice, thanks to the well-tested construction and design.
It has been out in the field for over 45 years and experienced most of the things that can happen under the surface.

Reviews
Good Points:
These regs are simple, basic and give air in bucket loads.
They don't have fancy buttons, they don't come out all glittery and sparkly, but they deliver and are fantastic work horses. These are the type of regs that once you start using them, you tend not to go back to other regs.
The side exhaust is also a treat as the bubbles aren't right in your face while you're looking at all the tiny little critters on reefs etc.
It is easy enough to get spares and service kits for them as the design hasnt changed much since the first Cyklons came out. So no problem of being told that parts aren't being made for them anymore.
The not so good points:
A drawback of them is that they have an extra wide mouth piece. I love the mouth piece, but it wont fit standard mouth pieces. So just to err on the safe side, make sure that you have a spare mouth piece specifically made for this reg in your spares kit.
They are also a bit more on the pricey side to service. If youre looking for a reg that is cheap to service, this isnt the reg you are looking for. It is by far not the most expensive, but you will notice a dent in your wallet once you get it back from your technician.
Overall, a fantastic reg that will bring you years of good service and happy diving diving.
