Good first stage reg for a drysuit inflation set up, but cheaper, better options are avaiable. Although this is quite streamlined, cheaper first stages, which are almost as streamlined, are available for less and are a better option in my opinion. Having used both, this first stage works quite well but is not the best option in my opinion.

Using this first stage for dry suit inflation. Chose this first stage for small size and for having a high presure port for a mini gauge. I've had it down to 85' in 39 deg. water without a issue. Next test Gilboa. Ordered it and had it the next day. Mike is always ready to answer ?'s.

This 1st stage is not intended for use as a breathing regulator, it is the same reg included in the Argon inflation kit. I was shopping for a 1st stage to use on a pony bottle and thought this might work with an Octo I already had, but no dice. It is great for use with suit inflation or air tools or other types of uses, it is a high quality reg.
