Great kit, it comes with everything, just spin it onto your DS bottle and go diving. The miflex hose and EZ connector are a bonus.

I bought 2 and I have used mine of and on and off for 2 years and have just started to get some leaks. The cheap and easy to get "Highland by XS Scuba Compact DIN First Stage Service Kit" fixed that. I am now going to include this reg in my annual reg service days.

A great system if you have a smaller tank and want a complete, ready to go system. Also good if you want to buy a tank without a valve for an argon system. I bought one for just such a purpose after buying a 6 Cu tank without a valve.

An elegant, well priced, solution for an argon system. However, as described in the text, but not in the pictures or video, the hose is milflex, not rubber and doesn't have a hose hat. I prefer rubber hoses on my argon bottles because they rub on my crushed neoprene dry suit and cause pilling. Also, note the button gauge reads PSI only, but that is easily remedied. Highland fist stage maintenance kits are available for this piston regulator as well.

This is a great setup and comes with a few important features. The first stage has a HP port for the included pressure gauge, a feature not found on several other argon regulators. Secondly, the LP hose is the appropriate length (shorter than the hose that comes with a drysuit) and the quick disconnect end is excellent. All you have to do to connect it is push it on, and it has a great knurled knob to remove it.

Top notch quality! Don't mess with trying to rig up something for an argon bottle from an old 1st stage. This is a very small and quality first stage and it comes with everything that you need (OPV, LP Hose, button SPG and even a delrin reg cap).
