Protection is important for regulators since they are the most important piece of gear. It protects against dust and moisture. It has a loop to attach to the first stage so you do not loose it.

This one is good at keeping moisture and dust out of my yoke regulators. It is made of storng plastic so it will be more protective than rubber. It fits perfectly on my regulator.

My original dust cap on my yoke valves are rubber. This is plastics so it keeps it shape. I am a happy owner of the product.

This dust cap is made of hard plastic not soft rubber. I was initially surprised but am happy with this fact. I think it will out last soft rubber.
