This is a good real for cave diving. It is made from delrin so it is strong and nearly neutrally buoyant. Even the handle is made from solid delrin.

Experience with DRIS: as always experience with dive right in scuba was exellent , they were very helpful in processing my order and resolving a small shipping issue.
Reel: the reel is well made; of all the reels I have tried this one is the best designed and easily the most durable. 800' probably a bit big for my tape of dives, but its nice to know if I ever wanted to do a deeper penetration I could. Would highly recommend any of the derwlin light monkey reels for the price.
