First time in the pool was pretty descent but I wasnt sold yet. Also, I ordered a 14 short and there is nothing short about it. This is my biggest criticism of The Fourth Element. The sizes like 12 on up are very long. It has an extra 4 inches in length.
I ended up putting the extra length to good use by pulling it over my heals to make my fins fit a little tighter.
Now, once I got to Costa Rica and put the Proteus ll through it's paces, it really stood out in comfort and warmth. I forgot all about the neck and the initial problems putting it on. I just get the cute divemaster to pull it over my head for me. This suit is amazing with just the right amount of buoyancy and I can move around freely! Everyone is jealous of my wetsuit and wants one too. I have bodybuilder arms too and this seems to fit my broad shoulders which can be difficult to fit. I highly recommended this product.
