Dive Right in Scuba Orland has been located in Chicago's south suburbs since 1974. Our facility is located in Orland Park which is approximately 45 minutes from downtown Chicago and is easily accessible from either of Chicago's airports and local interstates. We will gladly provide you with any directions needed to find us.
You will find that we go beyond the minimum standards needed to train divers. Please remember that all PADI courses are performance-based, our times and days do vary depending on your needs. We want you to succeed and will do all we can to assist you.

BCD Lifetime Service Warranty
All BCD's purchased through Dive Right in Scuba Orland will receive a Lifetime Service Warranty. Every year, send us your BCD and we will clean it as well as service the power inflator and dump valves for FREE!**

Training and Classes
As a 5-Star PADI Career Development Center, your Dive Right In Scuba Instructors are well versed in teaching the most expansive list of dive specialties in the Midwest. Now, throw in the PADI TecRec program for those wanting to go deep on the wrecks of Lake Michigan or exploring caves in Florida, and you know you're in the right place for all of your Scuba Training! We also train your local Police and Fire Department dive teams. Not only are you getting the best training, but you are also getting the best instructors and support staff to ensure you are having the time of your life and learning in a safe environment. Our dive instructors offer some of the best SCUBA instruction in the world!
We offer the best dive training in the industry by the most well-known scuba diving agencies in the world - PADI! Once you finish, you will have worldwide accreditation and access to dive. Your new scuba certification will have you certified down to 60 feet (over 15 years of age) or 40 ft (10 years old to 14 years old). Remember, your training doesn't stop here, this is a social hobby and we have lots of dive opportunities. Checkout some of the diving in our backyard. That little pond in Chicago - Lake Michigan - has some of the best wreck diving in the world!

Veterans & Vocational Program
Dive Right In Scuba is proud to assist our vets getting involved with SCUBA. We offer training from entry level through the PADI Instructor program. We can assist in funding the entry level courses, and we're happy to say we are approved for veterans benefits and can offer you training from Adventure Diver to the Instructor course and everything in between: plus it is all covered under the VA!
Our programs are approved for ACE College recommendations as well as approved by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for use of the G.I. Bill, for Veterans and beneficiaries .

Swim Program
We look forward to assisting you in the achievement of your aquatic goals, whether you want your child to swim competitively, learn basic water survival skills, or you as an adult would like to participate to gain confidence in a warm and relaxed environment. Students will participate in learning activities that allow them to explore the water in a creative, safe, and comfortable environment. Our 89 degree indoor pool is the ideal place to learn to swim, and the 30 minutes of exclusive one-on-one instruction you receive will speed your swim development and ensure that your next aquatic experience will be a positive one. Please read down the list for answers to more specific questions regarding scheduling, program curriculum, and policies.
Our Program
Our program is based upon the PADI Swim School curriculum, which has a two-fold focus: swim skill development and safety. From the first lesson, we seamlessly integrate water safety and independent movement in the water with confidence-building activities designed to develop good stroke form. We do not teach skills that students will have to "un-learn" later as their stroke technique develops; each level builds on the previous level and encourages the formation of good strokes from the beginning. As a companion to this program, each student receives a Personal Record book and participation certificates or patches for each passed level (upon request). We teach all ages from children to adults and seniors, though all students are required to be potty trained.

We have many opportunities for children as young as three years old to get involved in Aquatic activities. Our one on one swim instruction starts at age three and can be tailored to the needs of your child. We also have a variety of other programs for older kids to start getting involved in SCUBA and snorkeling. Call or stop in to our dive shop and we can give you more info.
SNORKELING
70% of the world lies just below the surface and PADI's Discover Snorkeling is the first step towards exploring the underwater world. Take your first step with confidence with helpful tips and suggestions to make the most of your glimpse into the watery world.

It's time to snorkel - a new and exciting way! Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth (SASY) lets you experience the underwater world the easy way - by snorkeling with scuba equipment instead of a snorkel.
SEAL TEAM
The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who are looking for an action-packed, adventurous program filled with exciting scuba "AquaMissions."
