This is a good and reliable octopus holder. It has never fallen off during a dive. I like the swivel which allows for it to not be so rigid on the bcd.

octopus holder doesn't fail. It always keeps the octopus where you left it. Many other octopus holders fail. This is a good product that I recommend.

The octopus holder works but takes longer to take off since you have to unclip it. Other octopus holder you just can pull it and take the the octopus. In an emergency situation every second may count.

Dive rite makes this octopus holder and it is good; however, I stopped using it for a bungee necklace. I never had a problem with this octopus holder.
