Think neurological assessment is just for medical professionals? Think again! This PADI Neurological Assessment Provider course is essential training for every diver. While diving injuries are rare, knowing how to recognize the subtle signs of a neurological problem – like decompression illness or even a stroke – can make a critical difference.

This isn't about becoming a doctor; it's about being prepared. Through a virtual classroom discussion (via Zoom), you'll gain valuable knowledge and practical skills:

• Understanding the Nervous System: Learn the basics of how the nervous system works and how it can be affected by diving injuries.
• Recognizing the Signs: Learn to identify the subtle (and not-so-subtle) signs of neurological problems, including decompression illness and stroke.
• Performing Assessments: Master the Functional Assessment Screening Tool (FAST) and other assessment techniques.
• Taking Action: Know when and how to seek appropriate medical help.
