While serious marine life injuries are rare, minor stings, scrapes, and irritations are a common part of diving. The PADI Marine Life Injuries course (taught virtually!) gives you the knowledge and skills to minimize these risks and handle them effectively if they occur.

This isn't just about scary creatures; it's about understanding the underwater environment and learning how to interact with it safely. Through a virtual classroom discussion (via Zoom), you'll learn about:

• Venomous Marine Life: Identifying and avoiding potential hazards from vertebrates and invertebrates.
• Treating Injuries: How to handle traumatic injuries and minimize discomfort.
• Serious Complications: Recognizing and responding to life-threatening situations.
• Seafood Poisoning: Understanding the risks and prevention.
• Prevention: The best ways to avoid marine life injuries in the first place.

This virtual class starts at 6pm CST and typically lasts around 3 hours, but we prioritize understanding over a strict time limit. The actual duration may vary depending on the number of students and the pace of learning. You'll receive a Zoom link and password before the class starts.
