Wanted to like this product, as its price is alluring and thus I bought one as a backup. However, there are just too many problems with it for me to ever use it as a primary. First, there is no OPV, so deploying from depth is out of the question. Second, it doesn't come with a way to keep it wrapped up. Better options are available for a bit more money.

The xs scuba safety sausage does the job and has a semi reflective surface. if you are looking for a safety sausage to put in a pocket and inflate on the surface this will work fine but if you want to clip it to a d ring it simply wont work. there is nothing to keep it from unrolling and become a hazard or nuisance. also if you fill it from depth and send it up it may pop because there is no open bottom or over pressure valve to release the expanding air.

XS scuba makes great products. This safety sausage is a great value for the size. It's light, compact and durable. I do wish the clip was a little larger I can't clip it around my D-rings, also i wish it had a Velcro strap to hold it together, currently i'm using a couple rubber bands. I recommend it to anybody who wants to to place it in a pocket. But if you plan on clipping to your D-ring search on my friend.
