The interior of scuba hoses should never be exposed to any type of cleaning solution. Damage can occur from the break-down of the inner lining resulting in the premature failure of the hose. It is the recommendation of XS Scuba that the ends of all scuba hoses be sealed and plugged during servicing to insure that the inner lining is protected from cleaning solutions.
