This STA is made from quality materials as far as I can tell. Not a spot of rust on them after 30 dives. Still looks good as new.
They come with 2 sets of hardware, a longer bolt set and a shorter bolt set. I used the shorter ones. The longer ones are probably for backplates that have a deeper bend.
I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because I bought the STA to solve a problem I was facing - the backplate not being perpendicular to the cylinder after the tank cam bands were cinched down. Due to the STA being very gently curved, the backplate can still be at an angle to the cylinder even after cinching down the cam bands. So it did not completely solve the problem that I bought them for.
These STAs are light, so its good for travel. Not suitable for those wanting to add weight to your rig via a heavy STA. But it works well for me as I travel with it.

I have a wing which can be used without STA but the stability I get from this makes them worth my while. Unlike some STAs this one has an angle which is great for thicker diameter tanks as well.

I mounted this to an Apeks S/S backplate. Lined right up. It came with two sets of bolts, a shorter set and a longer set. Looks like 1" and the other set looks about 1 1/2"
Multiple spots to thread my tank straps thru.
This was cheaper than the other STA's I looked at and came with hardware.

Own this for 2 years as complement of my DRIS BP/W package. I prefer this STA rather than other STA because this STA has an angle (I own STA with 90 degree from other company). I feel that this STA hold my tank tighter and give me more confident while dive. I see that highland also has STA similar type with this, but higher price. Never touch the highland tho, but I think this STA also has same quality.
