A replacement for your broken HOG exhaust cover

Similar to the other reviewer, my HOG second stage exhaust cover broke when the reg was squashed underneath another piece of gear. The dainty little plastic tabs that hold the cover in place -- the upper one, especially -- are easily broken, and definitely out of character on an otherwise-excellent, bulletproof regulator. The fact that DRIS carries these may be some indicator of how often they break. (HOG, are you listening?)
The replacement cover is a perfect fit for the original, if in a matte finish rather than glossy. Thankfully, they're inexpensive. I only rate it 3 stars because it doesn't appear that they've made any improvements to the design; it's still too fragile.

A necessary replacement

I was rinsing my 1st and 2nd stage and stayed with the hog 2nd stage exhaust cover in the hand and stay in the air the exhaust valve. The plastic pin securing the cover to the 2nd stage was broken.
How that happened I do not know. It can be a hit right out of the water against the tank or a hard surface, material failure or an unwanted engagement, the issue is that my 2nd stage was virtually unavailable.
This situation is rare because the cover looks pretty robust.
I make contact with DRIS and was promptly fixed the problem, they had stock of the parts and using a fast and efficient service once I had them in my possession, the replacement was very easy and simple, no problems.
Just in case I bought two of these covers have a as a spare in case, you never know.
DRIS ... Thank you for your excellent customer service, speed and efficiency ... !!!
