Rock solid cam bands

These cam bands do exactly what they are supposed to do. No slipping, no sliding, no stretching, no wiggling - nothing but a rock solid connection to your tank. I had no problems changing tanks, even of different sizes. I'd definitely buy these again.

Great addition to my BP/W

I bought these tank straps to replace the ones on my Halcyon BP/W. I got tired of having to lift my BP/W with a 6 lb S/S plate, weight pockets and 2 straps up and off when changing tanks, especially on boat dives. The Highland bands took a bit of work to initially set up and get used to, but now changing tanks is a breeze. Just open the buckle, pull the BP/W away from the empty tank, place it against a new tank, line up the buckle D-ring with the hook on the other end of the band and close the buckle. If you use the same diameter tanks like I do it's Easy on - Easy off. Readjusting to a different diameter tank takes a little work, but it's pretty straight forward once you get the hang of it. Not quite as easy as Aqualung bands, but at half the price it's a no brainer.

I love these. I got a set of these when I built up my first BPW, Since then I have fitted these to all of my BCDs. and also my wife's. The two big pluses for me are you can easily fit or remove without having to lift the BCD off over the tank, doesn't sound like much but a little boat in poor weather this is a nice feature to have. The big one for me is packing, as the band lies out flat if makes packing gear for travel so much easier than dealing with traditional clamps.

Not the quick buckle I hoped

Quite tough looking buckles, good quality. However they do not provide easy removal system. You still have to release the buckle and slide over the tank. I would like it if I could just release the buckle and get the bc off of the tank, like with scubapro or aqualung buckles. But for half price and good quality these are useful.

I've only ever previously used tank straps that were fully encompassing, rather than straps that come completely detached at the buckle, so they took a little getting used to, but once accustomed to using them, they sure do make for quick tank swaps.

One of the best tank straps

The tank straps is very well made and no corners were cut. The buckle is stainless steel is is nice - all my other ones were plastic. I never had a tank slip with these straps.

I love these bands. They are solidly built and are very secure. My previous ones would clip occasionally and it is a pain in the but to tighten a tank in the water.

Never dissapointed with highland. Ordered these for a backplate set up and are an amazing addition. As always it carries the highland quality, very well put together and stobg construction. The quick latch makes loading tanks so much faster the tring to slide it through two straps. Would buy again

Sweet Bands

Love these tank bands. They are heavy duty and can be clamped down very tightly and securely. When you release the buckle you can lift the BCD up and off the tank like normal bands, or you can loosen the buckle and unhook from the strap. The pad is both good and bad - it's nice once in place but can sometimes be a little bit of a pain to get situated, especially when unpracticed with using the bands. The pad seems heavy duty, time will tell how well it holds up.
