Hi Tanya, since the EVO4 is a fairly thick boot, the regular size should work out the best for you. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me direct at augiej@diverightinscuba.com.
The pocket is a little smaller than the F1. What size and type of boot will you be using? Please email me directly at chris@diverightinscuba.com or give us a call at 815-267-8400 and we will be happy to help.
A lot of your question is based on opinion. I think with what your doing and your entry style that the seasoft sunray boots would be perfect. I will add a link as well but the are tough soled boots and still comfortable with those f2 fins with added rubber protection on the top of the foot for protection from blisters.
I am more than happy to answer your question regarding sizing of F2 Fin. I just need some additional information from you. You can email me directly at Randy@diverightinscuba.com I look forward to assisting you in getting the correct product.

Good travel fin, but underpowered
Review byScott
I bought these because they're shorter and lighter than my old Scubapro split fins that I usually use for travelling to warm waters. In that regard they worked well. Size XL fit in my carry-on (which is *exactly* the new size limit for Alaska Airlines). I also have the F1 fin, in XXL. These are a bit smaller in the foot pocket than the F1 XXL, but with a thinner "tropical" boot (a pair of Chucks and lycra socks) these will, barely, fit my size-13 feet. There is no way I'd get my dry suit boots in them, though.
I didn't have a chance to test buoyancy except during a few seconds while donning them for snorkeling with my 5-y-o. They seem to be negative, and when I was diving via boat-entry I found my trim to be foot-heavy. There could be many factors relating to that, but read into it as you will.
For simple tooling around the reefs and looking at turtles and fish, they worked well. But when trying to move from chunk of rock, across empty sand, to the next rock, I found that there were two speeds - barely moving, or full speed. I couldn't do fine, varying speed changes like I can with my F1s. When I lock my knees and flutter from the hips for max thrust, I took off...albeit slower than with the F1s. Anything in between full sprint and drifting along didn't have the response that I was used to.
They're still going to be my go-to for air travel, but if I'm going to a place where I'll have to do a shore entry and swim to the site, and/or dive in current, I'll suck it up and take a heavier fin.

Light weight, comfort fit, bigger loop in strap which make easy to remove and hang, powerful fins easy to do helicopter turn.

Hollis F2 Fin
Review byGregory
The Hollis F2 fin is my current go to fin for travel. They are extremely light weight and are great for warm water diving. They do have some limitations though. I would not reccomend this fin for anyone who will be diving in strong current as they just dont generate that kind of power. But for all around low current diving they are fantastic and perform all kicks very well.

Was disappointed with these fins.
Review byDierenarts
First the good...they have nice generous foot pocket for booties and the spring ankle straps makes donning and removal a breeze. They are shorter for easier packing but I would not call them light weight. The bad....lack of power. For my snorkeling needs they were not great in current, longer swims out to fringing reefs or heavier seas. The short blades probably contributed to this in spite of the fancy high tech cut-outs. Breast stroke frog kick gave fairly good propulsion but crawl kick was a big negative. Looking for alternatives now that would give ease of use and food pocket but with longer blade for more power

Good traveling fins
Review byAlb
These fins are much smaller than the F1 fins. It will fit into carry on suitcases which is nice for a traveling scub adiver. The fins are powerful and well made. It provides good power in all types of kicks.

Great fin
Review byclint
This is a powerful fin yet lighter than most other of the golden standard fins. It is very efficient and I do not get tired using these.

Great for warm water diving
Review byjessi
These are great for warm water diving. They aren't heavy. They may be less than ideal for cold water diving due to the weight. It has the great properties of the F1 fins, but at a weight that can be used for tropical waters.

Too floppy and hurt my feet
Review byAndrew
I found these fins to be extremely light. They also felt short on my feet. I tend to like stiff and fat blades but needed something for tropical diving that weren't too heavy like jets. Unfortunately the foot pocket was just too stiff for me and made my foot go numb. They also just felt floppy.

Hollis took a great fun and made it better
Review byDM Jim
I have some of the original APS Mantaray fins - which I love - and when I saw that Hollis had bought the APS design and added a spring strap - I had to try them out!
All of the supoerb performance and benefits of the APS fin have been preserved and the addition of the spring strap makes this the best all around fin out there (in my humble opinion)
Easily packable for travel - plenty of power and low leg fatigue. It's truly hard to do better in a fin.
Strongly recommended. I just wish they kept the other colors.
