This Faber 2-liter cylinder, often called a 15 cubic foot high-pressure (HP15) tank, is a popular choice for rebreather divers needing a dedicated oxygen cylinder. It comes with an Oxygen sticker pre-applied for easy identification.
Faber tanks are known for their quality construction. This cylinder features a multi-layer protection system for longevity:
- Hot Spray Zinc Galvanized Base: Provides a foundation of corrosion resistance.
- Epoxy Coating: A layer of white or black epoxy-based paint adds further protection.
- Polyurethane Sealant: A clear sealant finish shields the underlying layers.
- Phosphatized Internal Treatment: Protects the inside of the cylinder.
This tank is rated to 3442 PSI (237 BAR). Please note that this is the cylinder only. Valves are available separately, and we recommend checking with your rebreather manufacturer for the appropriate valve and cylinder size for your specific unit.
Important: A visual inspection sticker is typically applied when a valve is installed. Tanks purchased without a valve will not ship with a current visual sticker.
