Then along come the evo4s. The tread isnt anything to write home about, and the sole is so thin, and the overall boot so flexible, its a step down from the rock solid evo3's. Walking over cobble, you can feel every rock, and less traction.
Only thing they did that I applaud, is more armoring of areas that go bad on the evo3 (but repairable with shoe goo) in the front of the boot.
Overall, these are a major step down from the evo 3's. But the evo4s are still better as a rock boot than anything else out there.
