This online course is the first step towards becoming an Emergency Response Diving International (ERDI) Level I certified diver. It provides the essential academic knowledge needed to safely function as part of an OSHA and NFPA compliant public safety dive team, covering foundational skills for both diver and tender roles.

After completing this eLearning, you will need to enroll in separate pool and open water training sessions with a certified ERDI Instructor to complete your ERD I certification and demonstrate required skills (including scuba proficiency, rescues, tending, and swim evaluations like an 800-meter mask/snorkel/fin swim).
