Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor Course: Teach Life-Saving Skills

CPR and First Aid are skills everyone should possess. As an Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor, you gain the qualifications to teach these critical skills to others, empowering them to respond effectively in emergencies. EFR courses use internationally recognized guidelines and focus on creating a positive learning environment where students practice skills and gain preparedness.

This course prepares you to be an effective EFR Instructor. You'll learn how to:

  • Structure and Organize: Plan and set up EFR courses like Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid).
  • Present Content: Deliver course material clearly and effectively.
  • Coach Students: Encourage self-discovery and facilitate hands-on skills practice.
  • Evaluate Performance: Assess student understanding and mastery of essential skills.
  • Manage Scenarios: Conduct effective, scenario-based learning experiences.

Becoming an EFR Instructor is a requirement for earning the PADI Instructor rating, but it's a valuable credential for anyone passionate about teaching emergency care. You can complete this training before or during your PADI Instructor training.

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age: 18 years old
  • Completed Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) training within the past 24 months.

Note: You may also be eligible for college credit for completing this course.
