We wish to inform you that Apeks/Aqualung USA has ceased the production of APEKS drysuit valves. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to secure any remaining stock of Apeks valves for our clients in the US.
But there's good news! You have an alternative solution!
The Apeks Drysuit Valves, which feature a 37mm diameter thread, have typically been installed on drysuits using a rubber valve pad or a marine-grade silicone. (For comparison, Sitech Valves have a 33mm diameter thread.)
Apeks valve pads usually come with a deep groove that measures 58mm in diameter, which is compatible with Sitech valves. This means you can use these valves interchangeably even though the hole in the drysuit is larger than the Sitech valve.
If your drysuit lacks a pre-installed valve pad, you can easily install one by applying a small, rice grain-width layer of Lexel Marine Grade Silicone to the base of the valve.
