Reviews
I gave it a 4/5 for two reasons- one, it doesn't provide much warmth when it gets damp (i.e. from a leak), two, because it starts to smell quite badly after a few days with no wash inbetween! ;)
I use it under af 200g weight polar fleece with a bilam shell drysuit. With that setup I've used it for short icedives and was cold but do-able.
It does keep you from getting the clammy moist skin you get with cheaper baselayers.
The MK0's are great. Fit is excellent, and construction is top notch. Thus far I have 75 dives on my MK0's in tropical waters from 74-82 degrees. They are comfortable, light, and airy on the surface. They provide just enough material to make sliding into, and wearing my Fusion enjoyable without added bulk. Sweat is wicked away from the skin leaving you dry and comfortable. I will continue to wear my MK0's in tropical waters.
As for the the Glacier MK0, I have yet to use it on a dive. I tried it on, and it fits like a glove. It really seems like it will do an excellent job as a base layer and serve as a nice layer to wear in tropical water. I do not yet intend to wear my Fusion Bullet when I travel, but I do plan on using this undergarment along with the MK2 John and jacket combination when I go ice diving. The product has similar construction features as other Whites undergarments (thumb loops, foot loops, dual front access zippers, and dual zipper rear panel). I cannot wait to use this product!
