This under suit is more of a barrier to be used between your skin and the suit for warm water diving. It does not offer much in the way of thermal protection. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me direct at augiej@diverightinscuba.com.
Hi road builder, this suit could be used as a base layer as well for cold weather use. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me direct at augiej@diverightinscuba.com.
I would go with the medium size for you. I am those exact measurements and I am a size medium as well, plus the do have a bit of stretch to them. If you have any other questions please let us know.

Great base layer
Review byGreg
This is a great base layer. I am always comfortable and reasonably warm after a full day in mexican caves (where the water is quite warm). My drysuit was consistently leaking on a trip once, those days left me a bit chilly when sitting on the water's surface between dives.
I gave it a 4/5 for two reasons- one, it doesn't provide much warmth when it gets damp (i.e. from a leak), two, because it starts to smell quite badly after a few days with no wash inbetween! ;)

Excellent
Review byDonald
I dive a Whites MkII undergarment and wanted this as a base layer. I find it better fitting, warmer, and much better wicking than the Capilene base layers I was using before. The sizing is accurate to the chart. This piece is definitely worth the money.

Top Quality Base Layer
Review bySteve
Ordered one for myself and my significant other and we were both impressed by the quality of the suits. I have many Under Armour garments and I very much prefer this suit over those. The material is much softer and I believe it wicks just as well, if not better. The material is very stretchy, so sizing shouldn't be too much of an issue. I actually returned my initial medium to go down to a tighter fitting small. I'm 5'7" and 165 lbs. The material is thick enough that it would work by itself for warmer waters.

Awesome baselayer
Review byChristopher
It an awesome base layer, it wicks the moisture effectively away from your skin.
I use it under af 200g weight polar fleece with a bilam shell drysuit. With that setup I've used it for short icedives and was cold but do-able.
It does keep you from getting the clammy moist skin you get with cheaper baselayers.

This is a great all around first layer for any under garment configuration you use for dry suit diving. I have even dove this as an only layer in 52 degree water just to see how cold I would be, while it was on the cool side it was bearable. It has excellent moisture wicking capabilities and even if you do sweat, it dry's very fast during a surface interval and is dry for your second dive. Another excellent quality product from White's that I would highly recommend, thank you Mike for the great service.

Ordered this item from DRIS and promptly received a call informing me that the item was not in stock, but would be shipped as quickly as possible. A few days later I was again called by DRIS. The item had already arrived at DRIS and was being sent to me that day! Great correspondence, and pleasant staff make dealing with DRIS a pleasure!
The MK0's are great. Fit is excellent, and construction is top notch. Thus far I have 75 dives on my MK0's in tropical waters from 74-82 degrees. They are comfortable, light, and airy on the surface. They provide just enough material to make sliding into, and wearing my Fusion enjoyable without added bulk. Sweat is wicked away from the skin leaving you dry and comfortable. I will continue to wear my MK0's in tropical waters.

Thanks again to DRIS for the great service! Shortly after I placed my order, I was notified the item was out of stock and had to be special ordered from Canada (customs delay). It was great to know the status of my order at all times. I received follow-up emails when my order came in and when it shipped as well. DRIS is a great company to deal with!
As for the the Glacier MK0, I have yet to use it on a dive. I tried it on, and it fits like a glove. It really seems like it will do an excellent job as a base layer and serve as a nice layer to wear in tropical water. I do not yet intend to wear my Fusion Bullet when I travel, but I do plan on using this undergarment along with the MK2 John and jacket combination when I go ice diving. The product has similar construction features as other Whites undergarments (thumb loops, foot loops, dual front access zippers, and dual zipper rear panel). I cannot wait to use this product!
