I have had the nect tite system on HOG dry suit for over a yr now. Along with the silicone neck seal. I have to say the best combo besides dry cloves and liners. It only took a dive or two to get used to the ring feel and now I don't really even notice it. I've put about 50 dives with it. I told a buddy of mine and he eventually got it put on his DUI Flex Extreme which I then bought LOL. I have not needed to replace a neck seal yet and the original seal was put on by DRIS so I can't tell you anything about the install or replacing a torn seal. But I don't see it being a difficult task to replace the neck seal with a neck tite ring system on the suit.

Bottom Line: it's cheaper the buying zip seals and works just as well. I've used them and this system would be my recommendation. YMMV

A very sensible alternative to DUI zip seal system if you want to have the ability to replace your neck seal in the field. Obviously, Neck Tite requires gluing it to your dry suit. So you either have to be comfortable with doing it yourself or need to send it to someone who will glue it for you. I glued it myself and the process was relatively easy and uneventful (albeit I had some previous experience with gluing neck and wrist seals to dry suits). It fits perfectly my TLS350. Installing a seal is actually quite easy once you get a knack of it but expect a bit of a learning curve the first time you are doing it (and perhaps a sore hand) - the seal is stuck very tightly into the grove.

The SI Tech neck ring is great! I was woried at first about installing it myself but eith a little DRIS help over the phone , everything went great. I practiced installing the seal then check it in the shallows and worked great. Then did a night dive to 96 ft in La Jolla. Couldnt be more stoked!
Fast delivery, thank DRIS for having product available and mucho thanks for your continued support.

I was on the fence whether or not to include this system as an upgrade to my USIA aquasport drysuit. After diving it I can say that it was worth the price. For me the silicone neck seals feel so much better than the latex options. I can understand what people say about the instalation ring being uncomfortable. I wear very thick undergarments and don't notice the ring due to the additional padding.

Bottom line: The comfort and ease of replacement are worth the price.

Simple to install for this Newbie!! Great system! I had a leak my first dive after i installed it but it was my fault and not the seal. I'm thrilled with how easy it was and how simple it will be for me to change a ripped neck seal at the dive site if needed!!

Installed this system on my Oceanic dry suit and am very happy with the results. DRIS assisted me(DIY) in the process and were very helpfull. Overall purchase, shipping and assistance were timely and useful. Have used the suit twice since install and no leaks.

I've only made one pool dive so far and all is well. I did my own install with the help of an uphostery shop - not beautiful but functional. I would recommend this and dry glove rings be installed on any new suit purchase!

DRIS did a great job installing this for me, it looks like it came from the factory.

The ring system is pretty simple, but it takes a couple practice runs to get the seal in evenly, although some mild dish soap and water makes it much easier to work with.

The silicone seal is very comfortable, and being replaceable is a definite plus, but I will say that having a round ring on your neck and shoulders is pretty unpleasant until you get in the water and it gets pressed down into a "U" shape onto your shoulders.

That small gripe aside, this definitely set the bar for what I expect in the future.

I can't complain about this system, it just saved a charter for me today. My seal tore and luckily someone had a new one. A few minutes later, without the proper install tool, I was ready for the dive.
I would suggest that you RALLY scuff up the ring before gluing! I lightly scuffed it and it peeled back from the suit. I don't know if this was because it was a Bare suit but I am pleased overall.

I installed the ring and silicone neck system in my Apollo suit. I just had my first totally dry dive. I am tall and akward and therefore my neck (17.5 inches)is forward on my shouldlers. I tried two different seals on my suit before this one they were tight in the front and loose in the back, after 70 dives most of which had some leaks this was my last shot. I took my time and installed it with Aquaseal and many clamps. I also pre curved it in the oven per the directions. It feels great and my dive buddy wants me to order another and help him install it.

I give it high marks but the clamping and time to do it right can be a chore. I took 5 days 1/2 hours a night to line up the clamps and do small sections at a time, in hind sight I wish I would have gone the the other adhesive method.

Rick:)
