Double Drysuit Connector

This item was out of stock and out of production. Santi and dris were waiting for their shipment when i ordered. Dris kept me updated on the timeline of its delivery. The product itself seems well built with standard e/o connectors and Santi proprietary connectors inside. It will only fit a apeks inlet valve as this connector is thread matched to an apeks valve. Much different then a sitech valve. The standard apeks valve I have on hand has a smooth inside cover on the the back in order to divert the cold airflow from being directed into one spot and to cover the valve mechanism. The inside wires have no way to get into the suit with this cover in place. Its easily enough removed, but defeats the purpose of protecting you from part of the mechanism. My solution was to use a dremel tool and create an opening in the cover for the wires. Easy enough. It will not divert the airflow, but will cover the mechanism. And so 4/5 stars. For my application, the Santi connectors don’t work, so they were easly cut off and xt60 connectors soldered into place. Im excited to get it in the water. As it will power my gloves and vest independently.
