The SDI Divemaster Course is the first professional-level certification, and at Dive Right In Scuba, we're committed to producing some of the most prepared and respected Divemasters in the industry. We train you to the standards we expect for our own team!

As the Midwest's largest SDI 5-Star Instructional Training Facility, we provide thorough training under instructors with extensive real-world experience (including PSD, technical, and cave diving). This course will challenge you and equip you with the knowledge and skills to:

• Lead Certified Divers: Guide divers on familiar sites and share your love for the underwater environment.
• Assist Instructors: Work alongside SDI Instructors to help new divers safely experience diving for the first time.
• Manage Dives: Learn dive site management, boat deck operations, and how to conduct safe and enjoyable dives.
• Master Dive Theory: Gain a professional-level understanding of diving physics and physiology.
• Refine Your Skills: Polish your personal diving skills to demonstration quality.

Prerequisites & Required Materials:

To begin your professional journey, you'll need:

• SDI Advanced Diver certification (or equivalent)
• SDI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent)
• SDI Deep Diver Specialty certification (or equivalent)
• SDI Night & Limited Visibility Specialty certification (or equivalent)
• Proof of current CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen Provider certifications
• A minimum of 40 logged dives
• Minimum age 18
• Your own Personal Dive Computer
• Access to the SDI Online Divemaster Class materials
• A copy of the "Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving"
• A current, up-to-date Log Book

Course Fee Includes: Tuition and SDI Divemaster application processing fee.
Not Included: Required course materials (Online access, Encyclopedia), rental gear (if needed), any dive site or boat fees.

Upon successful completion, you'll be prepared for dive leadership roles anywhere in the world and eligible to continue your professional training with the SDI Assistant Instructor Course.
