The bag has great lift. It id durable and easy to use. The dump valve works well and is vert secure. The D ring is stainless steel and good.

It really should get 2 stars, but it does as advertised so it gets the bump up to 3.

The anti spill bottom (which was alluded to in another review) is extremely difficult to fill by using regulator exhaust and/or octo. It might stop air from escaping the bag on a run away ascent, but it is just as difficult actually getting air into the bag.

On several occasions I shot the bag from 20-30 feet, watched it travel to the surface and then as able to pull the bag back down underwater as I made my ascent. I wouldn't trust it in the ocean. The bag might work if you are using it to shoot from greater depths and allowing Boyle's law to fill the bag adequately for you.

I moved on to a Dive Rite 50lb lift bag, $15 dollars more, but better quality and I don't need to have a heartache to fill the thing.

Good lift bag that has worked as intended the few times I have actually used it. the fabric is a bit thin but seems durable. Good price point for a 50 lb lift bag.

The bag rolls of neatly, the quality is good, and it works as intended. Had mine for 2 years and still looks like new. All in all a very good lift bag.

This is a nice light weight, compact, stow-able, and effective lift bag. The well designed baffle keeps the bag from deflating when it hits the surface, but doesn't allow air to go in quickly, so a fair amount of gets wasted when filling the bag with the safe second. The purge valve is well placed, and the webbing and straps are well designed. It seems to be a bit flimsy, so the jury is still out on durability. So far so good though, with numerous students using it and some heavy lifts. The price is right. I'd likely purchase it again.

The bag rolls up nicely to allow it to be stowed easily. The anti spill bottom is great, because you don't need to worry about the bag deflating when it hits the surface and sending whatever your lifting back down at you. the bag is easy to deploy under water
