The Helium Dive Gear Explorer 45 Wing is engineered specifically for technical divers using twin cylinder configurations or rebreather systems. This high-capacity wing provides the buoyancy needed for demanding dives with heavy equipment.
With 45 lbs (20.4 kg) of lift, the Explorer 45 supports extensive gear requirements. Its toroidal (doughnut-shaped) bladder design promotes uniform air distribution, helping divers achieve and maintain stable horizontal trim throughout the dive.
The construction utilizes a 1000D Cordura outer bladder for exceptional abrasion resistance, paired with a 420D inner bladder constructed using high-frequency (HF) welding to minimize seams. Guterman thread, known for its UV and seawater resistance, is used throughout, ensuring longevity in harsh marine environments.
This wing is designed to integrate seamlessly with standard backplate systems (standard mounting hole pattern).
