Description
Our CCR Series wing is designed for the O2ptima eCCR or any rebreather diver looking to streamline their hoses. The inflator hose is offset, lying just to the outside of the chest-mounted counterlungs. The open mid-section allows rebreather hoses to run through the middle of the wing, freeing up space behind the diver's head and keeping airflow from being compressed at the top of the wing. This also means airflow is no longer restricted at the top of the wing due to hoses pressing down over the wing.
The CCR Series is an adjustable lift wing, sporting an optional Gusset Control System cord that can be used to further streamline the wing such as when carrying small bailout bottles . The GCS is not a bungee wing because it does not restrict air flow; instead the GCS promotes added streamlining and buoyancy control, yet allows the wing to inflate to its full capacity.
Available in a single or dual bladder, the CCR Series offers 40 lbs/18.1 kg of lift and is designed for use with the TransPac, TransPlate or metal backplates.
Divers may choose from our value-driven and durable 1680 ballistic nylon EXP material or our SuperFabric® brand technology XT material that we’ve married with a 1000 denier Cordura® inner shell to create an armor-clad outer bag that is impervious to damaging pinches and cuts. Both the CCR EXP (Model BC 4800) and CCR XT (Model 5500) are further enhanced with a heavy-duty, 210 denier nylon laminated bladder. They are backed by our WORRY-FREE LIFETIME GUARANTEE and are made exclusively in the U.S.A.

Well I did two dives with it and all I can say is this wing is tiny with the bungee. It folds it in on itself so access to all valves, etc is super easy. I was pleasantly surprised when I blew the wing up with the bungee in place and pulled the dump valve it did not completely deflate the wing like most bungee'd wings do. This just folded the material in on itself and dumped only a a portion of the wing. Granted it is not like a typical hog wing, but this is ccr, we tend to use our Drysuits more for buoyancy anyways.
The giant cut out sections make this wing ideal for hose routing, and allows sediment/chunks of paint(wrecks)/etc to be easily washed from the unit, without dismantling the kit.
Two dives in and I can tell you right now this ccr wing is a winner!!
