Reviews
- It's easy to put on and take off, which I prefer over my previous hood.
- Fitment isn't what you might expect; apply a tapemeasure to your head and check the size chart. I did, and it fits perfectly.
The one downside: the seam on the inside of the neck chafes against my throat. After two dives, I literally had a bloody line on my neck, like someone had tried to garrote me. The hood is otherwise excellent, so I hate to complain, but I've got to figure out how to keep it from scraping me bloody every time.
Also this is without a skirt at the bottom so better suited for a dry suit then wet
I highly recommend these hoods.
One think to note is that the sizes are relatively "small", I have a very small head, normally wear kid sized motorbike helments and had to go with an L sized hood!! Check the sizing, take some measures on your head and you'll be fine.
One small complaint about this hood tho: I have a very long neck and find this hood is a bit too short, I have to check sometimes that I don't get a gap between my wetsuit and the hood.
To conclude, if you're looking for a hood look no further, and DRIS has a great service and a great price
