Tecline Overboot

I picked up a pair of these Tecline boots since I had my DUI suit converted from Turboboots to neoprene socks and needed rockboots. I'm a size 12 and my foot runs a little wider than normal in most brand shoes. I had no problem getting my usual fleece drysuit socks + the neoprene socks on the suit into these size 12 Tecline boots. They also fit well into my Mares Power Plana XXL fins. Pleasantly surprised to have everything fit on the first try!

The only thing I'm going to watch is the insole, which appears to be made of a cardboard/felt material under a layer of nylon. It's held up okay so far though.

Ordered a size up from my shoe size in hopes it would fit over the neoprene boots of my drysuit. They fit great!

I needed a boot that would fit into a smaller foot pocket. These are sleek and well streamlined boots that do not need a high foot pocket to slide into. I wear a size 10 and found them to be extremely comfortable.

Great drysuit boots that are less bulky than most and therefore allow fins with a smaller foot pocket. The lowtop design also gives better ankle flexibility.

Boot fits perfect and has a great fit into my fin as well. Great product! Great service and turnaround time on my order!

Run true to size... order the size you wear in shoes. Doesn't quite fit my old Tusa Imprex fins, but I expected that to be the case. Quality seems to be good.

I recently went through the process of optimizing my footwear which involved a better fitting boot, the right sized fins and springs. As one would imagine, doing this online can be a little more complicated regarding getting the combination just right. The service I received from DRIS was well above cooperative and more like collaborative with this effort. Mike clearly took a personal interest in ensuring that I got the perfect combination of items. As for the products, Pinnacle Tecline boots: Nice! very comfortable, easy to don/doff, and unlike many other boots still allow alot of ankle flexibility and fin sensitivity. The fins: 2XL Turtles. I needed a bigger foot pocket than my SP Jets provided and these gave me what i wanted. The composition of these fins, for all intents and purposes, is the same as the SP Jets. Same weight, same flex, same responsiveness. Great set of fins to use with bigger boots. The springs: XS Scuba universals. Not much to say here except they are good, sturdy springs. I use them as a standard on all my fins. The only thing i would improve on them is replacing the webbing cover with some kind of tubing as the webbing tends to fray a bit after some dives. Still, nothing some gorilla tape won't fix. I usually get good service from DRIS, but this particular set of transactions set the standard for what should be expected of ALL scuba retailers.
