It may seem expensive, but titanium is the way to go. This knife holds an edge. Is light enough so that you barely notice it. While not as rugged as stainless steal, it has taken everything I've thrown at it. Because it's titanium just rinse it off after the dive and don't worry about rust. I couldn't be happier with it. The notch for line cutting is very helpful. I opted for the blunt point to reduce the chance of cutting myself or my gear while re-sheathing and because sometimes a pointed knife can be considered a weapon vs a tool overseas.

It is important to always carry a knife besides a line cutter and shears because some things maybe too thick to be cut with the other methods.

nice dive knife, which wont rust unlike its SS counterpart. However, I had mine stolen and replaced its SS counterpart because of how bad it stung to lose it. I was always afraid it was gonna fall out somehow on a dive, but the sheath is well made and firmly secures the blade. I prefer the blunt tip for safety.

This was my first experience with Dive Right In Scuba and I must say I was impressed with the entire process. The product(s) arrived on time and were just as described at the best price available anywhere.

As for the knife, I dove with this over the course of two days and did not notice the item at all on my body. Lightweight and solid construction. It is a high quality product with a lifetime warranty...in the world of $cuba this is a god send.

Blue Tang Titanium Blunt Tip, is a great knife, carefree, stays sharp, and looks as good as the first dive. I only have 22 dives with the knife so I like to abuse my blades more, but so far this blade just shrugs it off. Worth the investment, and at least now I will not be replacing it in a couple of months. Thank you DRIS, I was surprised when I opened the package, and you guys never cease to amaze me. Thank you very much for finding what I want, every time!

This is one of the most care free knives for salt water use. It stays sharp and has never rusted. I use it for cutting bait fish and it goes through the bones with the least amount of effort. The handle is a great fit for my hand. Its larger then a lot of the other dive knifes out there but an impromptu fish fillet over the evening campfire makes it well worth it.

I have had this knife for a while and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. Its well made, and easy to dismantel to clean. The handle has a metal tip which is perfect if you need it to bang on something, and never had any issues losing the knife with the quick release buckle.
